Making Reputations That Make A Difference

Eden Expands Team with New Hire and Promotion

2nd February 2017

We have recently expanded our account team further with the appointment of Rebecca Ross as Senior Account Executive and the promotion of Amy Gallacher to Account Executive.

Rebecca, originally a journalism graduate from Nottingham Trent University, has a background in the industry with both in-house and agency communications roles working across multiple B2B and B2C sectors including property, construction and retail. She also has specialist experience of large scale and hospitality event organisation and working with clients to implement multi-platform social media strategies.

At Eden, Rebecca will join the account teams responsible for delivering PR and digital communications campaigns for clients such as Interflora and the new low energy, waterside residential development in Nottingham, Trent Basin.

Rebecca said: “This is a dream move for me. I may be a Brighton girl but Nottingham is very much home now and so being able to work with national brands on UK-wide consumer campaigns whilst remaining based in the city is an extraordinary opportunity. The team is fantastic and the consultancy offers a very clear path for career development which is hugely attractive.”

Amy Gallacher, a University of Nottingham graduate, joined Eden as PR Assistant 12 months ago, following an internship at Birmingham Children’s’ Hospital, where she developed her passion for media liaison, communications and press event management and work experience placements across the country including London, Birmingham and at Marketing Nottingham & Nottinghamshire.

Kathryn Greenwood, Joint Managing Director at Eden, said: “Over the last year Amy has developed as an exciting talent within the business and essential to the account teams that deliver widely successful local, national and international campaigns for clients such as Europa Worldwide, Insurance Broker Russell Scanlan and Interflora. Her promotion is well deserved and our expectation is that she will continue to develop her career at some pace at Eden. Similarly, we really could not be happier that Rebecca has made the move to Eden and she has already proved to be a real asset with a very promising future at the consultancy.

“Talented PR practitioners, at any levels, can be tricky to track down and recruit these days so we do go out of way to make sure that valued team members are invested in, trained, mentored and able to develop in their role, at a pace that matches their contribution and ability.”
