Eden’s Dinosaur Campaign Secures Dino-Mite Results

We have been having a roar-some time this summer, leading on the PR campaign and scoring dino-mite results for the exclusive, never-before-seen Dinosaurs of China exhibition in Nottingham.

Having welcomed dinosaur enthusiasts on 1st July, the world-exclusive event saw a staggering 8,000 visitors stomp through its doors for the first day and thousands more are expected to enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime exhibit at Wollaton Hall and Nottingham University’s Public Arts Centre, Nottingham Lakeside Arts, this Summer.

Eden’s PR campaign was instrumental in the event’s success. Working together with Nottingham City Council and The University of Nottingham, we were delighted to be appointed in February to lead on the PR on a local and national level.

Building on our extensive experience in events management, we have already achieved more than 160 pieces of coverage across numerous national and regional titles with highlights including The Guardian, New Scientist, Daily Mirror, Bella and the Metro.

The team was also delighted to welcome renowned TV presenter Chris Packham, whose love of dinosaurs saw him as a key promoter of the campaign and a key speaker at the Press Preview event on 30th June – which gave journalists, bloggers and photographers an exclusive ‘behind the scenes’ look at Dinosaurs of China.

The day was a roaring success with 24 Journalists from publications such as The New Scientist, BBC Radio 4, Nottingham Post, Notts TV, East Midlands Today and ITV Central in attendance to see the spectacular skeletons.

Now, with the exhibition open until the 29th October, we are excited to continue with our summer of Dinosaurs.
